The Etchells Worlds 2024 Organising Committee (OC) is pleased to provide the below indicative information to assist competitors coming from Interstate with their boat and trailer logistics in to, and out of Fremantle.
We recommend you consult the Regatta Schedule / Calendar in determining the best time for the arrival of your boat and trailer.
The following freight information is from WILLSHIP INTERNATIONAL who are able to provide an end-to-end freight & logistics solution to competitors from the Eastern States of Australia.

The below chart outlines INDICATIVE Container (40 foot High-Cube) freight charges to Fremantle through DB Schenker.

An area next to the Fremantle Sailing Club main clubhouse has been reserved for Etchells
​
The costs above are based on a one way journey. The costs and transit times are the same for the return journey.
Departures are roughly three times a month from all ports.
​
Each port in Australia has their own specific security and escort requirements, if you do not hold Maritime Security Identifical cards then you will need to sit through a brief induction on arrival to the port and pay an escort fee of approx AUD $100.00 directly to the terminal when boats/vehicles at drop off / pick up. Willship will provide full instructions on the course

Etchells: 12.00 x 2.10 x 2.10 @ 2500kg each
Any SUV sized vehicle: 00 x 1.80 x 1.80 @ 2200 kg
